About DGC

Dumbleton and District Garden Club has been in existence for around 45 years, serving the needs of the village and local area with talks, outings, garden visits and of course the Annual Flower & Produce Show in August.

Along with the Cricket Club, the Village Hall and other organisations, it contributes to the richness of living in such an attractive rural environment.

The Garden Club has an enthusiastic membership and Committee but like most clubs and organisations today, it faces challenges in remaining relevant to the needs of the community and its members.

The Garden Club Committee is dedicated to achieving this by looking at new ways to interact and communicate with residents and Club members. In addition to a varied programme of speakers, outings and events, we aim to interact with other organisations in the area and facilitate discounts at local garden centres and other outlets.

We have also established a ‘Friends of Dumbleton and District Garden Club’ for anyone who wants to show their support and help with the Club events.

The Committee needs the support of our local community. This can take many forms and could be as straight forward as becoming a member and supporting the Club, becoming a Friend of the Club or offering your services to the committee to help organise events and other activities. Please get involved, and if you would like to help at whatever level please contact us using one of the methods below.
